Forecast Model Services

MSR may provide you with an up to date model of the main global shipping markets including a possible scenario prepared by MSR. When you receive the Model you agree to takeover the responsibility in any way of the forecasts produced by the Model - including the scenario prepared by MSR.

The Model allows you to adjust main input parameters to reflect your opinion, i. e. regarding trade growth, tonnage demand growth, future "permanent slow-steaming", port congestion, future cancellation of current newbuilding orders, future contracting of newbuildings, future removal/scrapping of newbuildings, idle capacity, or future bunker prices - depending on the market segment.

In this way you will be able to formulate alternative forecasts of market developments of key parameters, i.e. freight rates, charter rates, and second-hand values. All results and major input parameters are displayed in graphs, summary tables, and for the main results in terms of time series for further calculation of your own.
